Sarah Koo had a definitive identity crisis at the tender age of 11. She decided that she needed to be different. Thus began her unofficial life as Sera… because mispelling on purpose was the cool thing to do in the fifth grade. That and going to the nearby skating rink in her fluorescent Barbie rollerblades. Oh yeah~!

Fast forward a few years, including some time spent twirling across a football field with a ten foot flag in tow, and Sera soon found herself at Wellesley as a double major in Studio Arts and French. After graduation, Sera worked in the nonprofits before becoming the UX Design Lead for Civic Resource Group in Los Angeles.

While Sera hasn’t yet achieved her lifelong wish of superhero status, she does have the gift of retaining random information. And when she’s not busy divulging too much information during her usual rambles, you can probably find her dabbling around with boxes and arrows galore as an IxD graduate student at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
